Turquoise Paw charity announcement

We had such a great time last year making Joy to the Whirled, we've decided to announce a special holiday Charity concert on December 22nd to continue raising money for Turquoise Paw & help them purchase a new animal transport van.

Tickets will be free for all TJF Music Club Members with the option to make a separate donation.

Remember the TJF Music Club monthly option is only £7.50 , so we'd love you to sign up and join us for this special event. A ticketed option will also be available.

We're thinking covers only like last years event & would really love your suggestions of songs you'd like to hear. Drop us a line at info@thejoyformidable.com

Here's a little clip from last Joy to the Whirled 2020, where we covered Echo and the Bunnymen. Also... come to think of it,  you can post comments below, so that might be a place for suggestions too.

For those of you who joined us for Joy to the Whirled, what were your favourite moments? Was it Rhydian's costume changes :-)

I want it now, I want it now
Not the promises of what tomorrow brings
I need to live in dreams today
I'm tired of the song that sorrow sings
And I want more than I can get
Just trying to, trying to, trying to forget
I'd walk to you through rings of fire
And never let you know the way I feel
Under skin is where I hide
The love that always gets me on my knees
And I want more than I can get
Just trying to, trying to, trying to forget
Nothing ever lasts forever
Nothing ever lasts forever
I want it now, I want it now
Don't tell me that my ship is coming in
Nothing comes to those who wait
Time's running out the door you're running in
So I want more than I can get
Just trying to, trying to, trying to forget
Nothing ever lasts forever
Nothing ever lasts forever
All the shadows and the pain
Are coming to you
