Just after we released record #3 in 2016, we shared our EP Sleep is Day with proceeds going to the Sumatran Orangutan Society. It featured Liana from the LP alongside a selection of acoustic originals and covers.
TJF : “We read a tweet by the naturalist and conservationist Bill Oddie where he was lamenting the destruction of the lianas in the orangutans’ natural habitat,” explains Ritzy. “Once we started reading about the crisis the orangutan was facing, it set the wheels in motion for us wanting to raise money.
The photo for the cover was shot in the rolling hills of North Wales, behind our Red Brick studio. The talent behind the lense is Mr Steve Reynolds.
