Such a beautiful looking & sounding gift from Fender HQ. Many thanks for all the love they've shown us over the years. This is the latest 75th anniversary Stratocaster in a beautiful diamond finish, being put to use in the studio. Can't remember why I'm giggling, probably because my headphones always slide around when we record, or Puggle is adding raspy BV's. For the Fender fans amongst you, it's a really gorgeous guitar & I'm excited to take it on the road with me. Might or might not switch out the pickups, TBD :-) What do you think?
In other gear news, I'm getting ready to build a new rig. Now that the record is finished, I know how I want the live shows to sound, so many ideas floating, lots of considerations. Sound, design, analog, digital, modelling and also will it fit on a fooking plane. Will it survive a plane journey hah! I'll keep you posted.
In 1946 Clarence Leonidas “Leo” Fender created Fender Electric Instrument Company and changed the trajectory of modern music forever. Featuring unique finishes, premium pickups and remarkably comfortable necks, these instruments honor the timeless Fender designs that reshaped music.
The 75th Anniversary Stratocaster is finished in a striking Diamond Anniversary finish with a matching painted headstock. Vintage-style ‘60s pickups provide sweet Strat tone, while a 2-point tremolo delivers smooth vibrato and improved tuning stability.
