Helo cyfeillion/friends, and a big Happy (albeit late) 2025 to you all.
It's been a little while since we connected here, and I want to start by saying thank you for your patience. We have been pouring ourselves into various projects; I think we've been enjoying music and album making more than ever.
The year ahead is starting to make sense and we’re excited for all the little dreams and plans that we have coming up.
The first part of the year is about live music though the Music Club - a space in TJF that you know we hold every dear. We'll be releasing two solo records this year - a milestone at last after years of threatening and ruminating 😂
Mark your calendars for February 16th 2025, the date of the first MC show of the year. We hope you’ll join us so that we can connect again, we've missed spending time together.
I also want to thank you for your understanding while we’ve taken time to paint and write. The creative process is such a meaningful part of being a musician, but it’s also an introspective and sometimes isolating period. Stepping out of that space and back into the world to see your faces again is something I’m really looking forward to.
Here’s to another year of music, connection, and the incredible Joy Family community. We’re so grateful for you.
